Guroma – Logo Design – Bengali Street Food

The start of a new year brings new beginnings. @guroma_uk is an exciting new street food vendor coming to Chester Indoor Market in 2021. They are bringing the taste of traditional Bengali street food to the UK and filling a culinary void in the Chester food scene. It was a real pleasure working on this logo for them which combines traditional elements with a modern aesthetic shouting out the street food vibe.

Guroma was the name given to the owner’s mother in her home village in Bangladesh and the chef behind the brand. The logo utilises the colours of the Bengali flag along with the red dot of the flag placed above the ‘M’. The dot emphasizes the link to her culinary input and the origins of the brand.
